Please note: ABBY services will be retired in 2015. Usage of ABBY has dropped significantly in recent years as more Members have switched to NetBranch to access their accounts. With mobile, text and tablet availability, NetBranch services are in much higher demand. We will focus our resources to support these digital services with the goal of providing a superior user experience for our Members.

Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Card

Anytime, anywhere you need cash, you have easy access to your accounts with an HEBFCU ATM card. Best of all, withdrawals are free at hundreds of ATMs in H-E-B stores, most Frost financial centers and other locations. In the H-E-B stores, check for the H-E-B logo on the front bottom panel of the ATM and for the HEBFCU logo on the screen. In addition to withdrawals, you can also transfer funds between your primary checking and savings accounts at the ATM. Find a convenient location with the ATM Locator.

The Fee Schedule displays applicable charges for inquiries at all ATMs and withdrawals at ATMs not included in the fee-free network. Additional fees may be assessed by the ATM owner.

CheckMate Debit Card

With CheckMate from HEBFCU, your checking account is more convenient than ever before. Using CheckMate is faster than writing a check, and more secure than carrying cash. It makes shopping fast, easy and convenient. When you shop with CheckMate, your purchases are automatically deducted from your checking account and conveniently detailed on your monthly statement.

You can use CheckMate at millions of merchants worldwide where MasterCard is accepted. If you plan to use your CheckMate card while traveling out-of-state or out of the country, contact HEBFCU in advance so that we can remove any debit card restrictions that may be in effect.

Night Deposit

Members of H-E-B Federal Credit Union aren't limited to banking hours when it comes to making deposits. If you are close to one of our branches, you can use the Night Deposit drop box after hours, on weekends and holidays.

When you're pressed for time, take advantage of this around-the-clock convenience when making deposits to your accounts.

Overdraft Protection

At HEBFCU, it is important to us to provide added value to the products and services we offer. That's why we make Overdraft Protection available on Premier, Classic and Basic Checking Accounts.

Plus, you can choose from two methods to protect your account. The first choice is to have funds transferred from another deposit account at the Credit Union. With your pre-authorization, we can transfer available funds in $25 increments to protect your checking account.

Once you arrange for Overdraft Protection, chances are you'll never experience the inconvenience or expense of a returned check. And Overdraft Protection is extremely affordable; see the Fee Schedule for applicable charges.

The second choice is to use a Line of Credit to prevent overdrafts. If you don't have a Line of Credit, you can apply online. Once approved, funds are transferred in $25 increments - up to your available limit - to protect your account.

Direct Deposit

Never stand in line or wait in the drive-thru to deposit your Social Security check or paycheck, and don't pay a fee to cash it. Direct Deposit is quick, safe and guarantees your paycheck is in your account on time, every time. Wire Transfers

When money must be sent and received at a specific time and place, use HEBFCU's Wire Transfer service. We can send funds to financial institutions nationwide and internationally. See the Fee Schedule for applicable charges on domestic and international wires.

We must receive your instructions before 3:30 p.m. for a domestic wire and 10:00 a.m. for an international wire for your transaction to be completed that day. Please remember to allow time for verification of funds and processing to ensure your funds arrive on time.

Automatic Savings Plan

Pay yourself first and watch your savings grow. Have a deposit made to your Savings, Vacation, Holiday, Money Market or Money Market Plus Account - or even your Variable IRA Share Account - automatically. Automatic Payment Plan

With this plan, you may never miss another payment. You can make your HEBFCU loan payments automatically by having them deducted from any Savings or Checking Account.

You'll not only save time but the cost of postage and envelopes. Best of all, you can elect to have payments deducted when your paycheck is deposited so you always have money in your account when it's time to make your payment.
